I've never had a bad meal at Fantastic China. Though the food won't seem authentic if you've ever had the opportunity to eat Chinese food (from any region) at one of the Asian areas of a major city, it's consistently good, well-prepared, and attractively presented. The Szechuan stringbeans are outstanding, as is the tofu with vegetables family style. Good lemon chicken with a nice, piquant, not-too-sweet sauce, and with the chicken nicely fried to order, and not just sitting around to be microwaved. Double-cooked pork is also good. The owners and wait staff are almost always very welcoming and solicitous. On a few occasions, I've found some staff surly, but the owners seem intent about monitoring the quality of service and seem to remedy such problems right away. For outstanding American-style Chinese food in pleasant surroundings, Fantastic China is hard to beat.?
